ABOUT THE RECORD

The Record is a newspaper produced by the students of Raritan Valley Community College.

Anyone in the college can participate! You can be involved by taking the 3-credit course, joining the Student Club, or just by submitting your contribution.

The Record is a 3-credit Course
Register for Newspaper Production as either COMM 285, ARTS 285, or BUSI 285 to gain valuable professional experience and degree credit. Students develop creative and collaborative skills while learning the fundamentals of news production for print and the Web.

The Record is a Student Club
Join The Record student club in the Lion's Den by clicking on Groups, then Groups Index, Student Clubs, then The Record. Communicate with other members about stories and events online.

Make your contribution by e-mailing us at
record@mail.raritanval.edu, or leaving your submission in our Student Activities mailbox.

Meet With Us in Person
The course meeting time is Fridays 9:00–11:50 a.m. in the Multimedia computer lab. Anyone is welcome to stop by!

The Record also meets in our Student Activities office on Tuesdays from 10:30-11:20 a.m.and Wednesdays from 12 noon to 12:50 p.m. We'd love to see you there!
