Summations Sequences & Series.
Welcome to Summations Sequences & Series.
In this
course, you will encounter beautiful theorems, one of which, the Binomial
Theorem is contributed by the
father of calculus Isaac Newton himself . You will develop mathematical
thinking skills such as mathematical pattern recognition which is at the root of all mathematical thinking. (Some mathematicians
define mathematics as the Science of Pattern). You will write and prove
mathematical statements with a powerful mathematical method, Mathematical
Induction. You will perform these activities with
mathematical rigor using and understanding the symbolic language of
mathematics. Thus you will be prepared for any mathematics
course you take particularly the calculus sequence.
